Hamlet and Palace of Torre-ramona

Subirats

This is one of the most unknown hamlets in Catalonia, formed by a series of monuments, with the Romanesque church of Sant Joan Sesrovires, the Gothic-Renaissance style palace fort which gives its name to the hamlet and different mediaeval buildings, as well as the headquarters of the Cava Guild.

The Gralla Palace (16th century), popularly known as Torre Ramona, gives its name to this hamlet, within the district of Subirats, surrounded by vineyards and below the Castle of Subirats. The Gralla family built this palace next to the Romanesque church of Sant Joan Sesrovires (10th century).
