Castellet

Surrounding its castle (10th century) and the church of Sant Pere (12th century), the historic centre of Castellet comprises houses with open doorways and cobbled streets which are a delight to wander through. Take a stroll and contemplate the spectacular views over the Foix reservoir, set in the privileged area of the Foix Natural Park.

The hill on which the village and castle of Castellet stand has been inhabited for the last 2.500 years. The strategic location is closely linked to the river Foix, the path of which winds around and encloses it to the north, west and south.
